Over the weekend, the Southern California A3P team assembled before a crowd of thousands at Huntington Beach, where it delivered fliers and spoke with eager community members about the program and goals of the blossoming young party.

The activist team learned that a number of local people had heard of the party and were interested in knowing how they might help in its mission to gain political representation for ordinary Americans.

After passing out hundreds of fliers and speaking with nearly as many people from behind the increasingly popular outreach booth, the six and a half activists, owing to the fact that they were so well received,  moved streetside for an impromptu demonstration.

Whereas, the team says,  the hand-to-hand outreach effort is a great way to communicate the party message to local people, the demo, however small, is one of the best ways to immediately communicate how popular the Nationalist cause is.

With thousands of people speeding by and honking in support of the messages carried by the activists’ signs, the huge columns of folks  moving to and from the beach got a feel for what ordinary Americans think, as opposed to what is constantly broadcast by the establishment media.

“With quite a few of these [outreach efforts] under our collective belt, we’ve got a good sense, now, of what works and what doesn’t” , said Brian Alexander, who participated in the event. “We know how to package our message, and we know how to make our message as appealing as it should rightfully be”, he added.

Growing the local membership to 50 people, and inspiring folks from around the country to do what they do, the team is having an impact.

The audience of nearly forty attendees was comprised of party members and CofCC members from all over the East Pennsylvania and New Jersey region; some came from as far as Maryland and the NYC area, including two of our state party chairmen.

The meeting was held in a rustic inn located in scenic Buck’s County, Pennsylvania, which provided a friendly and comfortable environment for newcomers.

Following the meeting, attendees had an opportunity to converse with the speakers and organizers as well as review the wide selection of literature provided including the American Third Position tri-fold pamphlet “Immigration: Enough is Enough” which was enthusiastically received by non-members.

The organizers are proud of the success of the meeting and look forward to more such events in the future.

“Something that is beyond man is happening,” Mr. Beck told the crowd, in what was part religious revival and part history lecture. “America today begins to turn back to God. … There’s nothing we can do that will solve the problems that we have and keep the peace unless we solve it through God.”

It was a plea made to an overwhelmingly white audience by a rainbow coalition of speakers.

The speaker list was diverse, including African Americans, Latinos and Native Americans, Jews and Christians, clergymen, military veterans and sports stars, including Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals. The crowd, however, was overwhelmingly white. (LA Times: Beck, others exhort conservatives to action at Washington rally).

All that implicit whiteness and no place to go. When whites put on a rally for an overwhelmingly white constituency, they feel a need to pledge allegiance to America as not really having an ethnic identity—hence the need for nonwhite speakers. The same thing happened at a Tea Party rally I attended in Southern California: the obligatory black speaker needed to deflect charges of racism that automatically surface when the crowd is overwhelmingly white. That’s why NASCAR is assiduously courting black drivers to perform in front of their  overwhelmingly white audiences.

The LA Times article notes that “Speaker after speaker praised the nation’s military, its Founding Fathers and Lincoln.” Red meat to the  Tea Partiers—guaranteed to bring tears to the  eye. Unfortunately, the military has been co-opted by the Israel Lobby. And the pleas to religion,  the Founding Fathers and Lincoln are just another version of the proposition nation creed: All will be well if we accept a certain set of universal ideas with no ethnic content.

But it won’t. The people attending are overwhelmingly white because whites are angry and deeply anxious about their future in America as other groups expand their power and whites are increasingly victimized as whites, in everything from affirmative action to violent crime. But they can’t explicitly state that this is a war against them. So they end up pledging allegiance to the very things that are dispossessing them—and calling it conservative. The worst part is that it gives his gullible audience hope that there are easy, painless solutions. We can do it if we just BELIEVE.

They can’t break with the ruling ideology. Until they do, they will just keep on losing and getting more and more desperate. And that, in a nutshell, is the argument for the A3P.

The event was attended by dozens of patriots, many of whom are A3P party members who traveled from various locations in the Northeast to participate.

In addition to the good company and delicious food, the A3P Pennsylvania State Party treated the guests with the musical talents of Matt Giambra.

The event lasted well into the early evening with the participants enjoying the company and conversation of fellow Party Members and like-minded patriots.

A good time was had by all that attended.

Rep. Sandstrom said he might be willing to bend on some minor points of the bill to improve its chance of passage, but will not compromise on allowing police to question individuals on their immigration status, as this is the “key to the bill.”

Rep. Sandstrom is expecting opposition, but says there are “dozens upon dozens” of legislators who will support the bill, and he believes it will ultimately pass.

The American Third Position strongly supports the efforts of individual states to protect their citizens from illegal intruders, an area where the United States government has woefully failed.

Even as voters prepare to send more Republicans to Washington, polls show that Americans are not enthusiastic about the GOP. Indeed, the arc of disillusionment spreads beyond the two parties to virtually every major American institution. If November’s election allowed Americans the opportunity to fire not only members of Congress, but also the nation’s entire public and private leadership class, they might take it. This deep, broad, and visceral discontent is a recipe for social and political volatility.

Whites are more alienated from both major parties than non-Whites. Brownstein proposes that this is solely due to the economic downturn. I suspect that White disaffection also involves racial anxiety about the non-White future. Non-Whites doubtless feel optimistic about the long-term future in a White-minority America, even if their present circumstances are difficult.

There is an apocalyptic tone to Brownstein’s essay—a belief that our new elite is out of touch with the great majority of Americans, that revolution may be just around the corner, and that third parties may be swept into power:

If polls existed just before the French Revolution, they might have returned results such as these. They point toward a widely shared conviction that the country’s public and private leadership is protecting its own interest at the expense of average (and even comfortable) Americans.

Because he sees the economic downturn as central, Brownstein sees a successful third party as headed by “a non-politician with a problem-solver pedigree” who is seen as able to turn the economy around.

He may be right, but the American Third Position believes that a prime mover of White disaffection is racial anxiety—amplified by the recession and by the perception that elites are completely out of touch with the interests and attitudes of the great majority of Americans. Good examples of the latter are recent court rulings that nullify popular sentiment on issues like the Arizona immigration law and California’s ban on same-sex marriage. Indeed, today’s op-ed page in the  LA Times shows the divide. The pro-homosexual marriage piece piously defending the courts and the anti-homosexual marriage piece emphasizing the undemocratic nature of the ruling: The “people’s will” was violated.

There is a feeling of powerlessness—that even strong majorities don’t matter anymore. And that is indeed what revolutions are made of.

Under this shocking arrangement, U.S. workers will be taxed to pay for the training of their foreign replacements.

Or more likely, since the Federal Government spends vastly more than it brings in, our children will be taxed to pay off the debt for this program, with interest.

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is contributing $10 million in taxpayer money to provide training free of charge to 3,000 Sri Lankans in basic I.T. and English language skills.

USAID initially announced this training would be in Java programming, then backpedaled and admitted this would not be possible because the prospective trainees have no computer skills whatsoever.

The agency will also be contributing federal funds (amount as yet undisclosed) to help establish Armenia as a corporate destination for low-cost I.T. and engineering.

Armenian officials have expressed a desire to lure computer work away from America.  With a little help from the American taxpayers, that goal is becoming reality.

As alarming as it is that $10 million in federal funds will be spent to train workers in Sri Lanka, more than ten times that amount will be spent training workers in Haiti.

Nearly $105 million in federal funds will be spent by USAID over four years, to teach up to 2,000 Haitians each year how to sew garments and other textiles.

In light of the catastrophic earthquake which Haiti suffered seven months ago, this may seem like a noble humanitarian effort.  But Haiti had unemployment rates estimated between 60% and 80% before the earthquake struck. 

Haitians are not unemployed because of the earthquake; they are unemployed because of the long-term systemic failure of the Haitian economic system.

With approximately 15 million of our own citizens out of work, the United States cannot afford to repair Haiti’s broken economy, any more than we can afford to finance the positioning of Sri Lanka and Armenia to compete with Americans for scarce jobs.

As of this writing, A3P leaders have completed the party registration process in other critical states such as California (flagship), Arizona, North Carolina and neighboring Pennsylvania. Members in other states are currently organizing and planning to do likewise.

All current and prospective A3P members must bear in mind that we have established a vetting process for those seeking to be organizers. Interested persons must work with A3P officers prior to registering within their respective state.

Nationwide we have several A3P members running for office on Republican Party tickets. Ryan Murdough, an upstanding young educator in New Hampshire, is running for the state’s House of Representatives. The Metro New York unit is prominently participating in his well-publicized campaign.  

In keeping with our rapidly expanding membership role and organizational capacity, we also have number of non-electoral projects in the works: Bob Richards’ third party forum; our public support for Arizona’s immigration enforcement law; and the production of A3P promotional videos.

By establishing a presence in this “electorally blue” part of the country, we have become an integral part of the long-term growth and success of the American Third Position. We must always keep in mind that we are at the forefront of this struggle for our people’s future in the United States. A3P is looking for only the best and brightest to join our effort.
