California Plunged into Welfare Funding Crisis: How Immigration Impoverishes America
The news that California borrows $40 million every day from the federal government to pay unemployment insurance takes on an ominous meaning when compared to government figures which show that 78 percent of all welfare recipients in that state are of immigrant or nonwhite origin.
In what is the clearest proof yet that immigration does not bring prosperity, but rather poverty and financial collapse, a report in the Los Angeles Times has revealed that the state of California already owes $8.6 billion for welfare payments.
Furthermore, the state must come up with a $362-million payment to Washington within the next twelve months just to meet current obligations.
The effect of this borrowing will be an increase in federal unemployment insurance tax, which will in turn increase the costs of employing anybody, which will once again stifle job creation and growth.
And what is the cause of this economic disaster? How could California have gone from America’s reputed richest, most glamorous state, to what is fast approaching a Third World basket case?
The answer is, as usual, simpler than liberals would think. California is starting to resemble the Third World because it has been invaded by Third Worlders.
Current demographic estimates say that California lacks a majority ethnic group and is considered a “minority-majority state.”
Official figures sat that non-Hispanic whites make up 42.3 percent of the population.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, nearly 43 percent of California residents speak a language other than English at home, a proportion far higher than any other state.
Given current trends, California will have a Hispanic majority by the year 2020, due to large-scale immigration and the fact that birth rates of Hispanic immigrants are higher than non-Hispanic groups.
According to a 2006 Administration for Children and Families report, out of 449,200 welfare families in California, some 50.9 percent were Hispanic. A further 20.7 percent were black, 0.4 percent Native American, 4.6 percent Asian, 0.6 percent Hawaiian, and 0.4 percent “multiracial.”
In other words, nearly five years ago, 78 percent of all welfare recipients in California were of Third World or immigrant origin. This figure will only have grown in the intervening half decade — and liberals still wonder why California is in such trouble?
If, as the liberal delusion would have everyone believe, immigration is “vital for the economy,” then in theory, California should be booming.
The harsh reality is that it is utterly bankrupt and on the point of collapse, precisely because of immigration.
How many more times does it have to proven before it is believed: immigration imports poverty, not prosperity.

Yes, this is true, but I would like to point out that there is a big distinction between welfare and unemployment insurance benefits. Unemployment benefits generally go to a very different category of people than welfare. In order to qualify for unemployment insurance you must have worked at a full-time job for a certain minimum period of time, maybe 7 or 8 months, within the last approximately one year. In other words, your employer must have paid into the system. Even self-employed people do not qualify, nor does anyone fired "for cause". As I understand it, part-time workers and people who "moonlight" also do not qualify for unemployment.
It's obvious that what's happening to Claifornia is but a microcosum as to what's in store for the rest of the nation if demographic trends continue unabated.
I realize that many Americans across this country still feel confident that when they wake-up in the morning and step outside their homes all will be as it was yesterday, going to work as usual and coming home without incident, but be rest assured, that out there, somewhere on a daily basis, a white woman, man, or child is being murdered, raped, or assaulted by a non-white or illegal immigrant simply they are white and because our so-called leadership has failed to protect us.
It's now up to us!
