6 Weeks In: An A3P Progress Report

Over the course of just six weeks, the A3P has expanded at an astonishing pace, with respect to membership, infrastructure, and degree of organization. In that short span of time, the party accepted 65 members, hired an Assistant to the Chairman, added James Edwards to its Board of Directors, purchased 13,000 pieces of literature, and raised several thousand dollars.

Party leaders have been working to organize members in nearly every state. Specifically, the party will soon recognize a state leadership in Georgia, Arizona, Arkansas, and Nevada. In a number of other states, party leaders are working with individuals to start the process of achieving ballot access. Taking it upon themselves to build the party at the lowest level, activists in Georgia, Arizona, and Arkansas have initiated their own outreach campaigns. These campaigns will be published in future.

Supporters, of their own volition, have taken out advertisements on forums and sites across the web. And the A3P will, within days, begin a radio ad-campaign on Liberty News Radio, which is capable of reaching a listenership of 1.1M. This is the radio network that hosts the Political Cesspool, a highly popular and influential radio program

The result of the online activism conducted by supporters and members on behalf of the party has been significant. The A3P website nearly outranks the party website of the Democrats in the U.S. Also stemming from their efforts were nearly 1000 email inquiries received from prospective members.

The Chairman, Bill Johnson, has conducted a number of interviews for different media. In recent weeks, he’s given interviews to La Opinion and the A.P. He will soon be interviewed by James Edwards, host of the Political Cesspool.

The party has also been negotiating with other Nationalists the terms of allowing the party to add to its growing list of available merchandise c.d.’s, books, and a party magazine. The addition of these items will be announced as agreements are made.

The Southern California A3P has already conducted 6 events and delivered 3,000 fliers. While they elected to forgo writing of their most recent event in favor of working on other projects, they did provide a few pictures for the purpose of motivating others:

Concerning the Near Future:

Party members and the Assistant to the Chairman will attend the American Renaissance Conference. Prospective members are encouraged to meet with the A3P contingent.

Monthly meeting are being held in Phoenix. Members are encouraged to attend, if they are nearby.

Several new fliers will soon be introduced.

    From Wikipedia:

A pamphleteer is a historical term for someone who creates or distributes pamphlets. Pamphlets were used to broadcast the writer's opinions on an issue, for example, in order to get people to vote for their favorite politician or to articulate a particular political ideology.

A famous pamphleteer of the American Revolutionary War was Thomas Paine. Another famous pamphleteer was Witte the With. Today a pamphleteer might communicate his missives by way of weblog, but before the advent of telecommunications, those with access to a printing press and a supply of paper used the pamphlet as a means of mass communications outside of newspapers or full-fledged books.
